Martha Gamm created an elegant wall hanging quilt using one Double Nine-Patch block, four Courthouse Steps blocks, setting triangles, and Nine-Patch cornerstones for the border. Inspired by Darlene Zimmerman's "On Cloud Nine," and machine quilted by Kristina Whitney, the pattern is available for download as a Pdf.

Garden Fence Quilt

In early 2014, Studio Dragonfly shared her first project of the year: a custom quilt designed for her son, Adam. This wasn't just any quilt but a personalized creation reflecting Adam's taste, inspired by colors he admired in another quilt. Together, they chose the design, turning the quilt-making into a heartfelt family activity. The quilt features vibrant, circular free-motion quilting, making it not just a warm cover but a piece of art infused with memories and emotions, a meaningful gift from mother to son. For a step-by-step guide and the free pattern, follow the link below.
