Although it looks like a couple of different blocks, it's actually just one block. The stars are formed when you put the blocks together in rows. It's a cool way to distribute the fabrics in the stars. To complete the look of the stars, you will make a half block around the outer edge of the quilt.

What a beautifully quilt block (Free pattern)! I found it on Pinterest... This quick and easy quilt is made up of strip sets, 9 patch blocks, 4 patches, and sashing strips that are snowballed to create beautiful stars throughout the quilt.
