The Buckeye Beauty quilt block is super fast and easy--just two half square triangles and two four patches and you're good to go!
Perfect for scrappy quilts because each block takes so little fabric. As always, scrap quilts are all about value. Keep your lights light and your darks dark to maintain the design.

If you're one of those busy quilters with very little spare time for quilting here's the solution. This book contains 9 gorgeous quilts you can make using 2 1/2" precut strips.
It's not always easy to find the time to select the fabric, do the cutting and then actually sit down and stitch the pieces together for many busy quilters and that's exactly why this book is so perfect for them. Each pattern was designed specifically with precuts in mind for the busy quilter.

Going back to traditions with the road to Oklahoma block. Today I have made this block available for you so you can use your pre-cut fabrics in a jelly roll! It’s great to come up with new blocks but I love always going back to traditions. A road to Oklahoma block is a block I think every quilter should make at least once.

The traditional quilt block Grandma's Choice! Of course, it goes by several other names - Fanny's Favorite, Diamond Ring, Old Favorite, etc. And there are other blocks called Grandma's (or Grandmother's) Choice! It first appeared as Grandma's Choice in 1938. It's a great little chain block that traditionally is only in two colors but I really think scrappy would look great too. Because it is a chain block, it would also look good alternating with another block. It's not hard to sew, sew let's get started!

A great scrappy and easy quilt. The only block you have to put together is the half-square-triangle block. Once those are made, it's just a matter of laying out the pieces.
